  The dentist wanted to get 1,000’s dollars worth of additional work done, as well as the original reason we went there. We found this out when we went elsewhere for another opinion.

  Overpriced even with private cover, if I travel to Brisbane to a Bupa Dentist there is no out of pocket instead of the hundreds of dollars we were charged here. The service used to be lovely until they expanded, wouldnt go back. Given a clean and fluoride treatment which left me quite ill, think they may have overdone the fluoride. Had a filling which was rough, asked if it should be smoother, dentist said it will wear down, it was rough and annoying for months. Dont bother.

  On Friday 5th December, 2014 My wife was booked in for a tooth extraction when she arrived for her appointment the dentist which she was booked in to see called her in and after examining the tooth told her that he was not confident with the tooth extraction and made her an appointment 45 minutes later with a different dentist but also charged her $70.00 then when she went back the butcher that she saw made an absolute botch of the extraction her pain is 8 out of 10 she is pale white in colour and shaking in shock and they allowed her to go in that state after charging a further $450.00 for the butchered extraction which in the pain she was in paid it I then went in to ask for an explanation and immediately the receptionist was on the back foot telling me that the original dentist was still entitled to charge for his time so they will charge for the job even if they don't perform the job in my eyes they all have no experience fresh out of uni with very low pass marks I recommend finding another dentistry and avoid these guys they will leave you with a botched mouth and an empty pocket you would get a much better service from the government dental clinic and have money to spend AVOID at all costs.

  I've never been a massive fan of the dentist myself, but after my experience with Burnett Dental I am now terrified of the thought of having to go back to the dentist ever again. I had my wisdom teeth removed with them and encountered a number of problems. The quote I requested for the entire procedure was incorrect and I was only told of all the extra costs after I had my surgery, which was a highly significant amount extra. While they were removing my teeth they also chipped one of my teeth and did not bother to fix it, then I was not given the proper tools to clean my stitches, nor was I informed how to. I recommend anyone else thinking of going to Burnett Dental not to risk it, as my bad experience has taught me that they do not care about their patients and handle them in a sloppy and unprofessional manner.
